1. Make sure your demo songs are of good quality, but also make sure that you’ve got good songs. One good song with bad sound quality is worth more than 20 mediocre songs with superb sound quality!
2. Pick your best song, and make it the first track of your demo. In most cases we can only spare time to listen for the first one or two songs of a demo, so do keep you demos short and make your best songs the first tracks of your CDs!
3. The biography must include your complete contact information (e-mail address, telephone number, mailing address, your website address if you have one), genre and band lineup.
4. If you can make your package look special, or if your package includes something extra such as a good press-kit or a video of your band, you will inevitably draw extra attention.
